The Georgia Tech campus celebrated a circus-themed Homecoming in October, with clowns, carnival games and, of course, a big football victory among the highlights.
Alumni and friends enjoyed fireworks and more at Buzz Bash, and many took part in reunion parties. The class of 1959 raised $3 million, with $304,560 used to endow a need-based scholarship. The class of 1969 raised $9 million, with $187,000 used to endow a need-based scholarship. And the class of 1984 raised $2.2 million, with $88,515 used to purchase a Ford F-250 pickup for the Ramblin' Reck Club. The funds also will be used for painting, detailing, insuring, fueling and maintaining the vehicle.
Members of the classes of 1960, 1970 and 1985 are needed to serve on the reunion party planning committees for next year's Homecoming. To learn more, e-mail Jennifer Eames.
