Living History Centennial Series Podcast

The Centennial Series Podcasts come from the Georgia Tech Living History Collection, which contains nearly 700 life stories. There are literally thousands of anecdotes about life at Georgia Tech over the decades, as well as tales about Atlanta, about Georgia, and all of the many states and countries that the candidates come from. It is a treasure trove of history that is filled with humor, derring-do, accomplishments and every human emotion one can imagine. Each week a new story will be added for a total of 52 stories over the centennial year. The clips are from 3.5 to 5 minutes long. Each will offer the listener/viewer a small window into someone’s life—an opportunity to share some thing that was significant to the speaker.

Founded in 1994, the Georgia Tech Alumni Association Living History Program has gathered, recorded and preserved hundreds of unique memories of the Georgia Tech family. Every person interviewed holds fast to the ideals of hard work, loyalty, and innovation instilled by Georgia Tech.

Alumni can visit these pages to find old friends, mentors, and memories. Students can see how Tech has changed, and what some of their futures may hold. All are invited to learn the history, traditions and accomplishments of Georgia Tech, through the eyes of those who made it possible.
