Pi Mile T-Shirt Design Contest

Contest Guidelines

  • Only current Georgia Tech students and alumni are eligible.
  • A t-shirt will be given to every registered Pi Mile participant, so your design should appeal to the majority of the participants, including Georgia Tech students, alumni, staff, faculty and friends. The design should capture the essence of Pi Mile.
  • Designs may include line art and text but no photographs.
  • Your design is for the front or back of the shirt and may encompass an area up to 10″ x 10″.
  • Design may use a maximum of three colors on a white or colored background.
  • The design must be your own original, unpublished work and must not include any third-party logos or copyrighted material. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work.
  • You must incorporate Georgia Tech, Pi Mile, and the date April 17, 2010 into the design. View last year’s winning design

The Fine Print

  • Maximum of one entry per person.
  • All entries must include a signed artist agreement to be considered.
  • Submissions will be screened by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association for merit and feasibility; finalists will be posted to the Pi Mile Web site for voting.
  • Online voting is open from February 22 – March 8, 2010.
  • The Georgia Tech Alumni Association reserves the right to make changes to the winning design before printing, including changes in image size or ink color or t-shirt color.
  • By submitting your design, you grant permission for your design to be used by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association including, but not limited to, the Pi Mile Web site, the 2010 Pi Mile t-shirt and future marketing materials.
  • The Georgia Tech Alumni Association reserves the right to disqualify designs in the event of tampering, circumventing, or inflating the voting process (One vote per design per day per individual during open voting).
  • The Georgia Tech Alumni Association reserves the right to final decision.
  • The winning design will be announced on March 12, 2010. The creator of the winning design will win a Flip Video Camera
