Franchising as a Career Change, Investment or Both
Header
Content
Franchising business ownership is a proven path to entrepreneurship and is also a viable career alternative for many people who want to “run their own business, without having to 'invent' it”. An added bonus: A successful and time-tested business model mitigates many of the common risks involved in starting any new business.
Who should attend? Any career professional/executive/employee who’s frustrated, downsized by their employer, wonders about becoming self-sufficient, thinks they might be entrepreneurial, approaching retirement, or believes their career options and opportunities are limited because of age, career experience, or other factors.
We will cover:
The basics of franchising: What / WHY / Who / and How
7 key differences: Franchises vs. independent small businesses
Funding options, investment, myths, and other considerations
How to evaluate franchising as a possible career fit for YOU!
Ownership Spectrum: Owner-operated to absentee investor business models
Experiences & comments from franchise owners
