Stuart Michelson, STC 11, MS HCI 13

Stuart Michelson is a member of the research faculty at the Georgia Tech Research Institute and is a subject matter expert in human systems engineering. Currently, he serves as a senior research scientist and branch head in the Human-Centered Engineering Division. Michelson is an instructor in Georgia Tech’s Professional Education Defense catalog and the sitting deputy chair of the National Defense Industrial Association’s Human Systems Division. His experience spans multiple professional associations and nonprofits, where he has supported and organized many military working groups spanning topics such as electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and military end user engagement.

Favorite Tech Memory: As a Georgia Tech legacy, bringing my elementary-aged sons to campus to see the places where their father and grandfather learned and taught.
