The awards express the Alumni Association’s appreciation of our outstanding alumni and friends for their service to the Institute, contributions in the community at large and for the inspiration they provide for the alumni leaders of tomorrow.
The Alumni Association’s highest award, honors alumni who have provided outstanding support to the Georgia Tech community throughout their lives and who have served as leaders within their professions and local communities.
An award that celebrates the dedicated alumni of Georgia Tech who demonstrate extraordinary passion and commitment to the Institute. These Jackets unapologetically live out Tech's values and embody the Georgia Tech spirit.
An award that recognizes alumni who have performed exemplary community service in the following ways: service in a long-term volunteer capacity, impact on the quality of life of others, leadership and creativity in dealing with societal problems, and ability to serve as a source of inspiration for others.
This recognition is for alumni under 40 who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to Georgia Tech, the Alumni Association, the general welfare of their communities, and their professions.
The Honorary Alumni designation honors non–alumni who have devoted themselves to the greater good of Georgia Tech.
Student Organizations
Student Alumni Association

Georgia Tech Student Ambassadors
Welcoming thousands of visitors by hosting more than 220 tours, the Georgia Tech Student Ambassadors represent the Institute for future students and the community as campus tour guides and event hosts on behalf of the Alumni Association. They serve Georgia Tech through professionalism, leadership, commitment, and hospitality.
Georgia Tech Student Foundation
$1,000,000 allocated by the Georgia Tech Student Foundation to over 75 student organizations. The Georgia Tech Student Foundation provides funding for student-centric initiatives, offers professional skill development through the management of its endowment, educates the student body about Roll Call, and develops strong leadership among its members.
The Impact of Sponsorship
Held in February annually, the Gold & White Honors Gala is the Alumni Association’s premiere event. It serves a dual purpose: To recognize and honor outstanding Georgia Tech community members for their service and contributions to the Institute and to the community at large and to develop the leaders of tomorrow by raising funds in support of the Alumni Association’s Student programs. All proceeds benefit the Student Alumni Association, Georgia Tech Student Foundation and Student Ambassadors. This event provides the exclusive opportunity of meeting current students who play an active role in the event’s program and act as hosts. Major corporations such as Georgia Power, Coca-Cola, Kimberly-Clark, Home Depot, and Inspire Brands have been involved in the past. The event also attracts successful smaller companies, start-up companies, Tech-related companies, and local businesses. Georgia Tech alumni, friends, and campus leaders attend.
If you are interested and/or have more questions about becoming a 2026 Gold and White Honors Gala sponsor, please contact Austin Schulte at austin.schulte@alumni.gatech.edu.
