The University System of Georgia’s 26 institutions contributed a total $21.9 billion to the state’s economy. The largest contributing public university, Georgia Tech was responsible for a fourth of that, $5.3 billion, and created 33,929 Georgia jobs, the highest employment impact of all USG institutions.
