The Georgia Tech Student Ambassadors strive to promote the Institute through a corps of professional students that act as official hosts for the Institute. Through a direct partnership with the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, the Ambassadors represent the Georgia Tech student body as campus tour guides and event hosts. Ambassadors serve the Institute as liaisons between the student body and Institute alumni, faculty, staff, and guests.

What We Do
Represent the Institute for future students and the community on behalf of the Alumni Association as a Georgia Tech Student Ambassador. Serve Georgia Tech through professionalism, leadership, commitment, and hospitality as a campus tour guide and event host.

The Georgia Tech Ambassadors are committed to serving the Georgia Institute of Technology by acting as professional representatives of the Georgia Tech student body and the official hosts of the Institute.

All information sessions are optional and aimed to help applicants better understand our organization and application process.

Application Information

Please note the following application requirements and date commitments listed below before submitting your application.

Undergraduate applicants:

Applicants must have completed two full semesters on campus at Georgia Tech (excluding summer semesters). If you are a transfer student, you only need one full semester on campus at Georgia Tech.

Ineligible applicants for this cycle include:
- First-year students (enrolled Fall 2026 or later)
- Spring 2027 out-of-town co-op students
- Spring 2027 study abroad students
- May or August 2027 graduates
- If graduating in December 2027, you must be on campus during the Fall 2027 semester.
Applicants must be of good academic and judicial standing. Alumni Association staff will verify your academic and judicial standing with the Institute.
Applicants must be willing to abide by the Ambassadors by-laws, standardized actions procedures, and professional expectations, and be willing to fulfill all event and tour responsibilities.
Applicants must be available on Thursday evenings at 7 – 8 p.m. for General Body meetings.
Applicants must be able to attend a mandatory New Member Retreat from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 13th, 2027.

Graduate & Doctoral applicants:

Applicants must have completed one full semester on campus at Georgia Tech (excluding summer semesters), includes transfer graduate or doctoral students.

- Online graduate and doctoral students
- Spring 2027 out-of-town co-op students
- Spring 2027 study abroad students
- May or August 2027 graduates
- If graduating in December 2027, you must be on campus during the Fall 2027 semester.
