Looking to build relationships with alumni and enhance your leadership skills with the Student Alumni Association? Here’s the timeline you need to keep in mind. Applications open on August 17. Information sessions take place September 2 and September 8. Interviews happen September 15–17. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by September 21.

Membership FAQs
The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is a membership-based organization dedicated to helping students succeed at Georgia Tech and beyond. Our mission is to enhance the experience of every Tech student by providing opportunities that broaden the college experience, strengthen traditions, build lifelong loyalty to Georgia Tech, and prepare students for success after graduation. We achieve this by leveraging our greatest asset, Tech’s alumni, and facilitating continuous interaction and knowledge sharing between alumni and students. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to fostering lifelong participation, philanthropic support, and Georgia Tech spirit and traditions. Interested students complete an application and interview to become a member of SAA.
SAA members believe in the power of building a strong network, and our programs are designed to help you get started. Connect with alumni who were once in your shoes and learn from their experiences at and after Tech. Members gain access to all of our programs and can also build a sense of community during our monthly meetings, while enjoying free swag and treats.
Through SAA, students can participate in panels with alumni, engage in one-on-one networking conversations, attend group outings and dinners with alumni, and gain onsite experience at top companies. Members also strengthen connections by coming together at general body meetings and bonding events, all while enjoying plenty of free food and swag.
These opportunities not only help students develop professional skills and expand their networks but also foster lasting connections with both peers and alumni.
First, attend an info session held in Fall 2025 to learn about the membership requirements. From there, you are welcomed to join SAA by signing up through a link you will get at the info session.

Of course! The Student Alumni Association is all about connecting you to alumni. Alumni participate in the majority of our events allowing students the chance to meet and network with some of Tech's great former students. Whether it is Dinner Jackets, Mentor Jackets, Expert Jackets, Social Jackets, or Industry Jackets, there are several great ways to connect to alumni.
