Every five years, the Alumni Association conducts an Alumni Attitude Survey to better understand alumni’s connections to the Institute and each other. to better understand alumni’s connections to the Institute and each other.

Your responses reveal your hopes for Tech’s future and guide the programs, services, and experiences created for you. 

The 2025 survey, which included 3,068 participants, reveals who you are and what matters most.

  • 62% of alumni feel connected to the Institute

Help Strengthen The Swarm

With more than 220,000 living alumni, it’s clear: Yellow Jackets are everywhere.

More than 89% reside in the U.S., with the majority living in Georgia. Local alumni activities take place largely when alumni step up to host them. 

This map reflects the locations of Yellow Jackets and alumni-hosted events in 2025. International hosts are welcome. More than 25 international alumni gatherings were held in 2025. When alumni, like you, take the lead, the Georgia Tech community grows stronger. 

 

Your Feedback In Action

In the prior Alumni Attitude Survey, conducted in 2020, career services were the No. 1 activity for alumni. Since then, the Alumni Association has doubled the number of professional development webinars offered annually. The survey showed that you also wanted to hear more about local alumni programs. The number of local events has increased by 50%. Alumni-to-student mentorship opportunities were another area of importance. Since 2020, 1,645 mentorship pairs have been matched.
