Update Your ProfileThe Wreck arrived at Georgia Tech in 1961 and primarily appears at home and road football games, including a famous trip in 1963 to Knoxville when vandals splashed it with orange paint. It has traveled to other events, including Dean Dull’s 80th birthday party, where it nearly didn’t make it and needed to be hotwired. And it’s even received a special escort in Athens by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department in 1975.
